JUAN BETANCUR was born
in Queens, NY, raised in Colombia, South America, and has performed
in Germany, France, Austria, Holland, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden,
Norway, Italy, Japan, and the Middle East in Beirut, Lebanon.
He was last seen in China in the Macau International Music
Festival playing Fred Casely in Chicago. TV credits include; “All
My Children”, “Guiding Light”, and “The
Rosie O’Donnell Show.” Juan’s voice can be
heard in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in New York.
TIFFANY CLEVETTE is honored
to be a part of this ‘Spectacular’ production. Recent
credits include Chicago, Ain’t MisBehavin, Hercules,
Golden Mickeys, Paris and Gospel Meets Symphony among many
others. Tiffany would like to thank her friends and
family for their support and God for His abundant blessings!
AMY FORBES (Choreographer) has performed in Japan, Florida,
Connecticut, Hawaii and her home town of Chicago and is happy
to be back for an all new production of A Holiday Spectacular
on Ice that is taking her to all new places. Amy Graduated
in 1998 with a B.A. in Choreography and Dance Technique.
She is thankful for her many years of skating, which has
helped to direct her life and has led to meeting so many
wonderful people along the way. Amy would like to send her
love to her husband, Terry. With his never-ending love, understanding
and guidance, she feels that she has gone places and achieved
more than ever imagined.
MELISSA GRAVELL is a Massachusetts native and has been skating
for 18 years. This year she has been fortunate enough to
skate in Chicago, at the 1st Major League Figure Skating
Championships, and at Mitsui Greenland, Japan, all in her
first year as a professional show skater. When not skating
she enjoys watching the Boston Red Sox and the N.E. Patriots
and coaching at local rinks. She would like to thank her
family and friends for all of their love and support!
CHUCK HARLESS is very excited to be touring with Gateway
Playhouse for this year’s holiday production. His skating
career includes appearances in various ice and dance productions
throughout the world including Disney on Ice, Ice Capades,
Holiday on Ice and showrooms in Las Vegas, Atlantic City,
Lake Tahoe and Reno. Chuck now calls San Francisco his home.
T. J. HOWELL
(Juggler/Unicyclist) has been touring with A Holiday Spectacular
on Ice for three seasons. He has performed in a variety
of venues including Tropicana Hotel & Casino (Atlantic
City), Holland American, Coastal Dolphin, and Princess
Cruise Lines, state fairs and other stages around the U.S.
and Canada. T.J. has been performing on ice for over 15
years with groups such as: Busch Gardens (Tampa), Houston
Astor World Amusement Park Ice Show, Showboat Dinner Theater
(Clearwater, FL), Marco Polo Hotel (Miami), Osmond Family
Theater (Branson, MO) and Gateway Playhouse on Long Island
(New York).
PAVEL KHABAROV (Cube Act) joins A Holiday Spectacular on
Ice from Tampa, Florida. His skating and cube act has taken
him worldwide. In his 10 years as a professional entertainer,
Pavel has been seen with Moscow on Ice, Russian Circus on
Ice, Wild Rose, England on Ice, World Rhythm on Ice, and
Busch Gardens.
CARRIANNE KIMBALL joins the cast of A Holiday Spectacular
on Ice from sunny Florida. She studied at Fredonia State
University where she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in
Human Communication and a minor in Spanish. Carrianne turned
professional in 1997 and toured Mexico for Rosstyn Ice Shows.
Since then she has performed for numerous production companies
in shows such as Advanced Entertainment Group’s Star
on Ice – Thailand tour, World Rhythms on Ice, and Steve
Wheeler’s Magic on Ice in Guam. Carrianne is thrilled
to now be a part of A Holiday Spectacular on Ice.
JAMIE KLINGLER is a double USFSA Gold Medallist. She has
been in numerous professional ice shows produced by Advanced
Entertainment Group, such as the Beau Rivage Celebration
on Ice in Biloxi, Mississippi and Mitsui, Greenland, American
Ice Show in Japan (female soloist). She is excited to be
touring the U.S. and looks forward to having another great
show!
GABRIEL LEEL joins A Holiday Spectacular on Ice from Tampa,
FL. He has traveled the country in various ice shows including
Disney on Ice Toy Story, Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede,
and World Rhythm on Ice at Busch Gardens, Tampa. A New England
native, Mr. Leel started skating at a very young age in New
Hampshire. Gabriel is a pair skater with partner Lindsey
Moore and this is their first show with Gateway Playhouse.
NICOLE MANGI is thrilled to be joining the cast of A Holiday
Spectacular on Ice! She was last seen in Cats (Jennyanydots)
and Gypsy (Agnes) at the Gateway Playhouse on Long Island.
Regional theater credits include; Geva Theatre Center, Repertory
Theatre of St. Louis. Nicole has been seen on the national
tour of Unsinkable Molly Brown and on TV in “Guiding
Light.” She holds a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from
Webster Conservatory. Nicole sends much love to her wonderful
parents and her sweetheart, Michael. Merry Christmas!!
LINDSEY MOORE is a double USFSA Gold Medallist. She has
spent the last five years performing in a variety of professional
ice shows, such as; Holiday on Ice Evolution tour in Puerto
Rico and as a featured soloist in Nancy Kerrigan’s
Halloween on Ice. Lindsey has performed in several shows
with Advanced Entertainment Group, including; Hollywood on
Ice at Drury Lane Theater (Chicago), World Rhythms on Ice
at Busch Gardens (Tampa Bay), and as a principal adagio pair
last Christmas at the Beau Rivage Hotel & Casino. She
is currently skating with her new partner, Gabriel Leel and
is very excited to be a part of A Holiday Spectacular on
Ice.
TRAVIS NUSS has been skating for 11 years and joins the
cast from Colorado Springs, CO. He has been performing in
shows with Advanced Entertainment Group including Star on
Ice – Thailand, Japan. Travis also skated with Disney
on Ice Beauty and the Beast. Travis is very excited to be
performing this show with such a wonderful group of people.
STEFANIE OAKES is a USFSA triple gold medallist. She competed
regionally & nationally in ice dance, freestyle and synchronized
skating. She started her professional skating career after
graduating high school, touring with Disney on Ice. For 11
months she performed in the ensemble and understudied the
role of Sleeping Beauty. Stefanie has been accepted to Bowling
Green State University and plans to study Exercise Physiology & Dietetics
beginning in January.
DINA PARISE started figure skating at the age of 8 and skated
competitively through high school. In 1989 she turned to
a professional career, joining the Ice Capades for their
50th Anniversary Tour. Dina traveled coast-to-coast in the
U.S. and Canada as well as appearing in their television
special. While on hiatus from the Ice Capades, Dina performed
in the Bietak production of Reflections on Ice. She is pleased
to be performing with Gateway Playhouse and Advanced Ent-ertainment
Group and for the third time on tour with A Holiday Spectacular
on Ice. Dina resides in her native Long Island, NY with her
husband, Andrew, whom she thanks for his encouragement and
support.
NIKKI WARD joins the cast from Chicago. She has been skating
for 15 years. Nicole has competed at regional, sectional
and national competitions. She placed 8th at National Collegiates
this year, and was recently crowned Chicago Open Champion.
Nicole has been skating in shows for 2 years; touring with
Star on Ice in Thailand, and as a guest skater in the Green
Bay Figure Skating Show. Nicole is a full-time student of
Political Science and Justice Studies at the University of
New Hampshire.
CHRISTOPHER YATES is excited to work with Gateway again,
having last appeared here as Josh in the musical Big; other
appearances include George Bailey in A Wonderful Life, and
Cornelius in Hello Dolly. Recent credits include Walter in
An American Daughter and Uncle Peck in How I Learned to Drive
with The Women’s Theatre Company, NJ; Serenading Louie
and One Shoe Off with the Schoolhouse Theatre, NY: a critically
acclaimed portrayal of Brutus in Julius Caesar with Moonwork,
NYC; Valere in The Miser with Olney Theatre Center, MD; and
Nick Arnstein in Funny Girl with Barrington Stage Co, MA.
Chris received The Outer Critics Circle award for best actor
for his portrayal of Cliff in Cabaret in Boston. Off-Broadway:
Hysterical Blindness; Fixing Frank; and Enter the Guardsman.
Chris is also a veteran of several Broadway National Tours;
including Les Miserables as Javert and Enjolras on the 1st
and 3rd Nationals; Blood Brothers with Petula Clark and David
Cassidy; Simon Stride in Jekyll and Hyde; and John Jasper
in Drood. As well as many regional theatres across the country
including La Jolla Playhouse, CA; Theatre Virginia; Hasty
Pudding, MA; Northern Theatre, VT and The Shakespeare Theatre,
NJ. Chris can also be heard on many voice-overs and cartoons.

PAUL ALLAN (Producer) Paul has been the producer at the
Gateway Playhouse for over 20 years and has also produced
successful shows from the East End to the Far East. Born
into the theatrical family that started Gateway, Paul became
involved in the theatre at an early age. In addition to his
career as a producer, Paul co-founded a successful touring
company which mounted dozens of productions as well as a
Set Rental company which provides scenery and props for various
productions throughout the United States. Running Gateway
is more than producing 6 or 7 shows a season. The theatre
complex consists of 7 acres and many buildings including
shops, rehearsal studios, offices, and housing facilities.
All have to be maintained and upgraded. Although Gateway
is a seasonal operation, work continues all year round -
with the off season the opportunity for repairs and maintenance.
New innovations and technologies are constantly being implemented
in the productions as well as the facility that supports
the productions. Paul is grateful to live very
close to the theatre so he can continue his year-round activities
while still having time to help raise his new son - Luke
Robert Allan - with his wife Annmarie.
BRIAN LOESCH (Lighting Designer) Graduated with a Degree
in Technical Theatre from Suffolk County Community College. He
has previously designed Cabaret, South Pacific, Footloose,
Jesus Christ Superstar, and Kiss Me Kate for Gateway. This
is Brian’s seventh season as part of the Gateway family,
and sixth season as Master Electrician. Other design
credits include Language of Angels (Henry Street Experimental
Theatre, NYC), Paraffin Touch (Suffolk County Community
College), The Man Who Would Be King (World Premiere at the
Antrim Playhouse), Kiss Me Kate (Cape Fear Regional Theatre),
the 2003 National Tour of George M! (Candlewood Int./Mainstage
Productions), and the 2004 National Tour of Titanic (Candlewood
Int.).
MARIANNE DOMINY (Costume Design) has enjoyed working with
Gateway Playhouse for the last ten years. Besides Costume
Coordinator for over twenty Gateway productions she has Designed
Costumes for Jesus Christ Superstar, Godspell, & Twist
and Shout. In the past Marianne has served as Properties
Mistress /Set dresser. Marianne has also Stage Managed for
the Children's Theatre. On her time off from Gateway Marianne
sews for local clients. She has lived in Bellport all her
life and loves being a part of the artistic endeavors at
Gateway. She would like to thank Kelly Schroeder for all
her help.
STEPHEN HOLLENBECK (Costume Designer): This award-winning
costume designer joined the Costume World team in 2002. For
over a decade, he was the Costume Designer for the Indianapolis
Civic Theatre where he won the prestigious Encord Award.
His award-winning designs include Oklahoma, Pippin, and My
Fair Lady. His designs for Into the Woods won state, regional,
and national awards and Stephen was thrilled to be able to
tour Japan with this production. Since joining Costume World,
Stephen has designed Crazy For You and George M! for Candlewood
Productions, Cinderella and Forum for the Beef and Boards
Dinner Theatre, Ragtime for Musical Theatre Southwest, and
for Gateway Miss Saigon and The King and I. He is pleased
to once again be working with the Gateway Playhouse
